Dr. Rohan Thamby
Dr. Rohan Thamby is a foot and ankle surgeon whose main goal is providing his patients with compassionate care and overcoming any foot and ankle pathologies.
He completed his undergraduate double majoring in neuroscience and biology at the University of Texas at Dallas followed by a master’s in clinical research management at University of North Texas Health Science Center. After a few years managing clinical research trials, Dr. Thamby set his focus on treating the foot and ankle. He went on to receive his doctorate at Western University of Health Sciences followed by residency at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Palo Alto with affiliations at Stanford Medical Center and Kaiser San Jose and served as chief resident during this time. He received extensive cutting edge training in sports medicine, pediatrics, diabetic limb salvage, Charcot reconstruction, elective foot and ankle reconstruction, and trauma.
Now providing care in San Francisco,
Dr. Thamby’s main goal is to help patients of all ages stay as active and healthy as possible, whether it be through modern non-surgical options or cutting edge surgical techniques. He is committed to providing patients with care based on not just their symptoms, but a myriad of factors which enable creating a specific tailored treatment plan for each and every patient.
